It was a beautiful experience getting to work with Aida Rodriguez designing her look for her HBO Max comedy special “Fighting Words”. When I sat down to chat with Aida I asked her what her design inspiration was and where it stems from. She wanted to have a look designed that infused her Indigenous Taíno ancestry of the Caribbean culture and a spice of Celia Cruz brought together to create her look. We love Halloween here at CELESTINO! We had an amazing time creating our looks and attending The Maker Hotel Halloween Masquerade party.
